Privacy Policy for Storage Moguls

Belrose Mentoring Group, LLC d/b/a Storage Moguls (“Storage Moguls,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you access or use our websites, applications, AI-powered customer portal, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our Services.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information in the following ways:

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

When you register for an account, subscribe to our Services, interact with our AI-powered customer portal, upload content, communicate with other users, or otherwise engage with the Services, you may provide us with:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.

  • Account Information: Username, password, and account preferences.

  • Payment Information: Credit card or other payment details (processed by our third-party payment processors).

  • User Content: Any content, materials, data, posts, comments, messages, files, or other information you submit or upload through the Services, including when interacting with educational materials or other users, and any audio, video, screen shares, chat comments, or presentations you contribute during live calls, discussions, case studies, or community events.

  • Recordings: Audio, video, visual, and other recordings of your participation in live calls, webinars, discussions, case studies, educational presentations, and community events, including your name, image, voice, likeness, statements, and any content you share or present.

  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback, or when you communicate with other users through our platform.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, browser type, and language settings.

  • Usage Information: Pages viewed, features used, links clicked, search queries, time spent on pages, and other actions taken within the Services.

  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and other standard server log information.

  • AI Interaction Data: Your interactions with our AI-powered features, including questions, responses, and usage patterns.

1.3 Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and to distinguish you from other users. For more details, please see Section 7 (Cookie Policy) below.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

2.1 Providing and Improving Services

  • To create, maintain, and secure your account.

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Services, including our AI-powered customer portal and educational content.

  • To process transactions and send related information, including purchase confirmations and invoices.

  • To respond to your inquiries, comments, and requests, and to provide customer support.

  • To facilitate interactions between users on our platform.

  • To monitor, analyze, and improve the Services, including our AI features and educational materials.

2.2 Marketing and Communications

  • To send you promotional communications about Storage Moguls products, services, features, and events that may be of interest to you.

  • To send you newsletters, updates, and other informational content.

  • You may opt out of receiving promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us as described below.

2.3 De-Identified Data and AI Training

  • To generate, compile, and use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from your use of the Services for any lawful purpose.

  • To use de-identified data for the improvement and development of Storage Moguls products and services, including the training, evaluation, and enhancement of our AI models and systems.

  • To analyze aggregate trends, create benchmarking reports, and develop industry analyses.

2.4 Safety, Security, and Legal Compliance

  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other illegal activities.

  • To protect the rights, property, and safety of Storage Moguls, our users, and others.

  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

  • To enforce our terms, conditions, and policies.

2.5 Recordings and Content Use 

Storage Moguls may record live calls, webinars, discussions, case studies, educational presentations, and other community events (“Recorded Events”). By participating in Storage Moguls events, you acknowledge and agree to the following: 

  • Recording: We may record participant audio, video, screen shares, chat comments, and presentations during Recorded Events. 

  • Editing and Repurposing: We may edit, modify, excerpt, and create derivative works from recorded content for any lawful business purpose. 

  • Use of Recordings: We may use clips, excerpts, testimonials, comments, or presentations from Recorded Events in social media content, marketing materials, promotional videos, email campaigns, educational content, and other communications. 

  • Name, Image, and Likeness: We may use your name, image, voice, likeness, company name, and statements made during Recorded Events for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes. 

  • No Additional Compensation: Your participation in Recorded Events is voluntary, and you will not receive additional compensation or royalties for our use of recordings as described in this section. 

  • No Approval Required: We are not required to obtain your prior approval before using recordings as described in this section, and we may use such recordings in perpetuity in any media now known or hereafter developed.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers and Vendors

We share information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, and agents who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, data analytics, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, AI model providers, and marketing assistance. These service providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are contractually obligated to protect your information.

3.2 Third-Party AI Providers

We utilize third-party AI service providers to power certain features of our Services, including our AI chatbot. Your inputs and queries may be transmitted to these providers solely to deliver the Services. We work with providers that meet reasonable data protection standards.

3.3 User Interactions

When you interact with other users through our platform, certain information you choose to share (such as your username, profile information, and any content you post) may be visible to other users in accordance with your settings and the features you use.

3.4 Legal Requirements and Protection

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency request). We may also disclose information when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

3.5 Business Transfers

If Storage Moguls is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of company assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or uses of your information.

3.6 De-Identified Information

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not directly identify you with third parties for any lawful purpose, including for research, analytics, and industry benchmarking. De-identified information shall not be considered Personal Information.

3.7 Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We work with third-party advertising and analytics providers, including, but not limited to, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook), to help us understand how users interact with our Services and to deliver targeted advertising. Under some state laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights, sharing Personal Information with such third parties may constitute a “sale” of information as that term is defined under the applicable laws and these third parties may use this information to display advertisements to you on other websites and services based on your interests

3.8 Opting Out of Sale and Sharing 

You have the right to opt out of the sale and sharing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising purposes. To exercise this right, you may: 

  • Click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available on our website; 

  • Submit an opt-out request by contacting us using the information provided in Section 11 below; or 

  • Enable a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), in your browser. We will process GPC signals as a valid opt-out request. 

  • You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize the Google Display Network ads by visiting the Google Ads Settings page: http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Google also recommends installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on provides visitors with the ability to prevent their data from being collected and used by Google Analytics. If you opt out, we will cease selling or sharing your Personal Information for targeted advertising purposes. Please note that opting out will not affect our use of your information for other lawful purposes, and you may still see non-personalized advertisements. 

4. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FEATURES

Our Services include AI-powered features, including an AI chatbot and knowledge base assistant. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

4.1 AI Interactions

When you interact with our AI features, your inputs, questions, and interactions may be stored, processed, and used to deliver AI responses, improve our AI systems, and enhance our Services.

4.2 Third-Party AI Providers

We utilize third-party AI service providers (such as model and API providers) to power certain AI features. Your inputs may be transmitted to these providers to deliver the Services. We work with providers that maintain reasonable data protection standards.

4.3 AI Limitations

AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You should independently verify any information obtained through our AI features before relying on it.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. De-identified or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

6. DATA SECURITY

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

7. COOKIE POLICY

7.1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners. We also use similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage.

7.2 Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the Services to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms.

8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS UNDER STATE LAWS

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and privacy laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have collected the following categories of Personal Information: (a) identifiers (such as name, email address, and IP address); (b) personal information categories listed in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e) (such as name, address, and payment information); (c) commercial information (such as transaction history and products or services purchased); (d) internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing history and interactions with our Services); (e) geolocation data (inferred from IP address); (f) professional or employment-related information (if provided); (g) inferences drawn from the above categories; and (h) sensitive personal information (if applicable and as permitted by law); and (i) audio, electronic, visual, and similar information (such as recordings of live calls, webinars, discussions, and community events).

 

8.2 Your Rights

Subject to certain exceptions and limitations, you may have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.

  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising purposes.   • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may have the right to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to certain purposes.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

8.3 Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in Section 11 below. We will verify your identity before processing your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

8.4 Shine the Light (California)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding the disclosure of their personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Storage Moguls does not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us immediately.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
